The façade in the centre of Prague collects dust and exhaust fumes, with algae growing on north-facing walls. Regular cleaning is an order of magnitude cheaper than a new coating, and a well-maintained building rents and sells more easily.
How we clean facades
We select pressure and chemicals based on the material: structured renders are cleaned with low-pressure water and a biocidal agent against algae; smooth facades and cladding are cleaned with high-pressure water; sensitive surfaces are cleaned manually with a brush. Water is drained via a hose from the roof, the pavement below the work area is secured, and we clear up after the job.
Algae and mould cannot simply be washed away.
Green coating on the façade is a living organism, if it is only rinsed off, it will be back within a year. Therefore, after washing we apply a biocidal coating that protects the wall for several years. On insulated façades (ETICS), this is the only procedure that does not damage thin-layer render.
Graffiti and anti-graffiti protection
We remove tags using a gel remover and hot water. For exposed areas, we recommend an anti-graffiti coating; further cleaning then requires only rinsing.

- How much does facade cleaning cost?
- The price depends on the area, complexity and level of contamination. After an inspection we will send a quotation with a fixed price: both the inspection and the quotation are free and non-binding.
- Can we also work on a heritage-listed building?
- Yes, we have the most experience with sensitive procedures in central Prague. Low pressure, manual finishing, no aggressive chemicals on stone and stucco.
- Do we need a pavement closure permit?
- No. We work from a rope lowered from the roof; only temporary fencing is required beneath the work area, which we arrange ourselves. You do not need any permit from the Traffic Safety Commission (TSK).
