Pigeon droppings are aggressive: they corrode render, stone and sheet metal elements and pose health risks. The longer the problem is delayed, the more expensive the façade repair becomes. We install barriers using rope access. We can reach cornices that a platform cannot reach.
Spikes: for cornices and window sills
Stainless steel spikes are the fastest solution for narrow seating surfaces: cornices, window sills, parapets, lamp brackets. Birds cannot land on them, yet they are barely visible from the street. We glue them with silicone sealant that does not damage the façade or stone, on heritage-protected buildings this is the only method that can be justified.
Networks: for courtyards, skylights and balconies
Where pigeons nest, inner courtyards, skylights, balcony niches, arcades, spikes are insufficient. A polyethylene net with 50 mm mesh closes off the entire area. We anchor it into joints or onto stainless steel cables; from the street, the net is practically invisible. Before installation, we clean and disinfect the area of droppings and nests.
Why rope access installation
Guardrails are installed precisely where a lift cannot reach and scaffolding would cost more than the entire job: narrow courtyards in the centre, cornices above entrances, rooflights. We lower ourselves from the roof, install them, and clear up. Most buildings are completed in one day.

- No. Spikes are glued onto sealant without drilling; nets are anchored into masonry joints or to tensioned cables. On heritage-protected buildings, we use exclusively reversible anchoring.
- How long do bird deterrents last?
- Stainless steel tips are practically unlimited in lifespan; nets last 10 years or more. The material is resistant to UV radiation and frost.
- Do you also remove existing droppings and nests?
- Yes, cleaning and disinfecting affected areas is a standard part of net installation, without it, pigeons would return.
